Accessibility
The site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. This page says what was built, what was tested and how to report a barrier.
What was built
- Body and data text at 16px; labels and hints at 13px or larger; line height at least 1.5.
- Text contrast at 4.5:1 or better for normal text, with the signal colour paired with a text label.
- One h1 per page, a logical heading order and a skip link.
- Every form control has a visible label. The check uses native radios, a native select and a native date input.
- Targets at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels; primary buttons at least 44px high.
- No horizontal overflow at 320px and 390px. Tables scroll inside a labelled region.
- The result panel uses aria-live and the page does not move focus without a user action.
- No autoplay, no parallax and no motion beyond a 150ms hover change. Reduced motion is respected.
- The site prints without navigation, buttons or the hero photograph.
What was tested
The build runs an objective UX audit on the home, pricing, free check, about and register pages at desktop and at 390 by 844. The audit checks font size, contrast, target size, labels, the h1 count and horizontal overflow. The result is recorded in the build log. A browser smoke checks the main routes and the free check.
Known limits
The tables are wide by nature. On a small screen they scroll inside a labelled region rather than shrinking the text. The check is a JavaScript form; without JavaScript the page still shows the method and the register links, but the personal result does not compute and the date tables live on `/dates/`.
Report a barrier
Email support@theartofservice.com with the page and what happened. A barrier is treated as a defect, not a feature request.
